In this section I’m showcasing some spatial design for interior spaces, pop-up stores, exhibitions and retail. I also showing projects I was involved with at Ganter Group where I have lead the project management team for construction and furniture projects for showrooms and retail spaces.
Leon Cycle Vancouver Store
I helped to design the overall look and feel of the store front, including placement of logos and branding, as well as color choice.
NLGX Nanluoguxiang Beijing Store
From store front design to interior, display and lighting. I’ve helped to create the overall look and feel of that store which was recommended by CNN Travel.
Exhibition Design
NLGX was invited to exhibit its products and designs at the China Creative Design Week in Beijing.
Pop-up store design
A design proposal for a pop-up store at Beijing’s iconic Parkview Green shopping mall. Inspired by Asia’s famous street markets, this pop-up features a customized and re-purposed “mianbaoche” van and a 3-meter tall steel tree to display bags and accessories.
Pop-up store design
The very urban and street-style design of the pop-up stood in stark contrast with the more high-end positioned mall which gave it a welcome change in look and feel. The mianbaoche and the steel tree was an eyecatcher and served as a more creative way to sell the products.
Showroom and experience center project
For the client Sony, I was heavily involved in the renovation and construction of the Shanghai SSV showroom which consists of an area of 300sqm to experience Sony’s digital products. The renovation includes anything from demolition work to ceiling, flooring, lighting and furniture and fixture production.
Hangzhou book store project
For the client Harbook I was involved to realize a design book store in Hangzhou. We provided anything from the aquamarine glass panels and the green velvet curtain to the arcade surfaces made out of galvanized metal, powder coated mesh and HPL panels with brushed stainless steel finishing to create a industrial style look.
Department store project
For the client Galeries Lafayette we are in close contact with design company HMKM to realize their first Shanghai location at L+ mall in Lujiazui. We provided everyting from frameworks, cash desks, podiums, display walls and shelving units for the 4 storey big department store which is scheduled to open in March 2019.
